Khurshid graduated with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy in 2010 from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences in India.⠀Khurshid has over a decade of experience! ⠀ If he had to specific one specialty, it’d be sports injuries. He’s a huge football (soccer) fan. His favourite team is Manchester United. In fact, he loves the team so much that he followed them all the way to England to complete schooling in exercise and sports science. ⚽️🇬🇧⠀ ⠀ His love for sports is probably what led him to specialize in sports injury physiotherapy. He works with injury cases from both indoor and outdoor sports, mostly in volleyball, basketball, baseball, rugby, hockey, and football (the Canadian kind). And given how much Sherwood Park loves sports, he has many school-level athletes who see him for treatment.⠀ ⠀ Khurshid’s patients ranging from cute, little children to respected, mature seniors. He enjoys working with people who have had knee and hip replacements, as he has personal experience working alongside a replacement surgeon for 2 years.⠀ ⠀ He also worked alongside a podiatrist for a couple years, gaining vast knowledge regarding foot and ankle issues, especially many hard-working Albertans who are in the oil patch and construction wearing steel-toed footwear full time.⠀ ⠀ Lately, he’s been working with whiplash cases, often a result of motor vehicle collisions. He also works with low back pain and issues arising from nerve or disc related pathology.⠀ ⠀ He has over 3 years experience working with extracorporeal shockwave therapy (ESWT), which is in huge demand among patients looking for quick relief.⠀ ⠀ Khurshid believes in tailoring physiotherapy programs for each individual. He combines his knowledge of exercise science with the latest electrical equipment and hands-on skills to achieve the best outcome for his clients.⠀ ⠀ In his spare time, he likes going to the mountains to see crystal blue water, despite not being a very good hiker. 😉He also likes long drives. ⠀
